type class	DESCRIPTION: This class is the only class in town with the GUTS to tell you if you have what it takes to make it as an actor in Hollywood. This rarely taught workshop is designed to teach you who you are in the eyes of the industry and to show you how you compare with the top actors working in the industry today. This class is for the beginner as well as the "middle class" actor looking to take your career to the next level. You'll learn what sets the A-List Actor apart from the rest of the world and find out if you can do the same. By the end of the six weeks you'll know exactly how the industry sees you, where you fit in and how to be a master at branding and marketing yourself. More importantly you'll learn what makes you unique and how to bring that knowledge to every aspect of your work! WHY TAKE IT? Every actor needs to know who they are in the eyes of the industry and how they compare. This is the only class in town that will address that issue specifically. This 6-week workshop defines what it is that makes you unique and cast-able, and teaches you how to use that information to market and act your way to the top. scene study	DESCRIPTION: This Scene Study class is intended for students who have had some experience in acting. It is an extension of our award-winning workshop, "Know Your Type/Act Like Yourself" (see above). This class is designed to give each student the opportunity to learn how to "Act Like Yourself" through the practical device of scene study. Each week the class opens with a brief lecture and/or discussion followed by a short technique exercise designed to stretch each actor and "open" them up. The majority of the class is devoted to the scene work performed by each student and critiqued by the teacher. WHY TAKE IT? Scene study is the bread and butter of acting technique. This is where you get to put your talent to work and focus on honing your acting skills. The critiques by the teacher are personal and specifically given to help you learn to just "be yourself" on stage or on camera.
